The Buffalo Bills have gained points in all 15 of their offensive red zone trips, tallying 11 touchdowns to four field goals.
From Buffalo’s third quarter against the Oakland Raiders in Week 2 to the fourth quarter against the New England Patriots in Week 3, the Bills scored touchdowns on six consecutive red zone trips. That streak could have continued had the Bills not downed the ball multiple times in electing to kick the game-winning field goal in the final second against the Patriots.
Quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick is responsible for eight of those red zone touchdowns, as he has an 108.0 quarterback rating inside the opposition’s 20-yard line. He has yet to throw an interception in the red zone.
Tight end Scott Chandler is Fitzpatrick’s favorite red zone target, as he’s caught all four of his scores inside the 20.
The Bills’ three non-passing red zone scores came from running back Fred Jackson.
