New York Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez's play has been all over the place this season, but he's always been pretty good in the fourth quarter.
Seven of Sanchez's 18 touchdowns this season have come in the fourth quarter, along with just one of his 11 interceptions. He has picked up 37 first downs in the final stanza and has 10 passes of 20 or more yards.
"We have complete faith in Mark. He's done it before," Ryan told the media after the Jets' win over the Buffalo Bills Sunday. "I think he's had more fourth-quarter comebacks over the last two years than any other quarterback in the league. That speaks enough about Mark."
Sanchez had a 123 quarterback rating in the second half Sunday and led his team on a game-winning 82-yard drive in the final two minutes, capping it off with a scoring strike to Santonio Holmes.
