The Buffalo Bills have been thin on positive injury news this season, but coach Chan Gailey told the media Friday that safeties George Wilson and Jairus Byrd are probable and should be ready to go for Sunday's game against the San Diego Chargers.
Wilson had missed the last three games after acquiring a neck injury. He returned to practice earlier this week and had been optimistic that he would be good for Sunday.
Byrd missed some practice time in the middle of the week with a shin injury.
The return of Wilson is big for Buffalo's secondary, which was clearly missing his presence both in play and leadership, as acknowledged by Gailey Wednesday.
