Buffalo Bills quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick stunk Sunday. But in his defense, the rest of the team didn't play much better.
Buffalo continues to slide after its 5-2 start to the season, losing 37-10 to the San Diego Chargers in falling to 5-8. The Bills had a slight chance to make it a game down 16-10 in the third quarter, but the Chargers scored 21 consecutive points to finish the contest.
"We're not very good right now," Bills coach Chan Gailey told the media after the game.
Fitzpatrick threw two interceptions -- including one for a Chargers' touchdown -- and no touchdowns (at least for his team). He was 13-for-34 through the air, gaining 176 yards.
"The last two weeks we made some progress, and today obviously took a step backwards, didn't do anything well," Fitzpatrick said.
Fitzpatrick signed a $59 million extension during Buffalo's bye week, but his play has been underwhelming, to say the least, since then.
