Jets sending a familiar trio to Hawaii for Pro Bowl

BY NICK ST. DENIS

Darrelle Revis, Nick Mangold and D'Brickashaw Ferguson punched their tickets to Hawaii -- again.

The trio made the Pro Bowl together for the third straight year, and Revis and Mangold will be going for the fourth time in as many seasons.

Revis, the NFL's best cornerback, has been as good advertised this season despite getting challenged on a regular basis. He's defensed 23 passes (eight last weekend alone), has four picks and scored a touchdown.

Ferguson, a left tackle, and Mangold are the two best pieces of an offensive line that used to be tops in the league. The team's decline in offensive line play has has little-to-nothing to do with the pair's work.

Mangold is still regarded as arguably the best center in the league and showed his importance when he missed time early in the season to injury.

Kick returner Joe McKnight, linebacker David Harris and guard Brandon Moore were named alternates.
