A lot was expected of Chad Ochocinco in joining forces with quarterback Tom Brady when the New England Patriots acquired the veteran wideout last offseason.
But Ochocinco has done little-to-nothing since donning the red, white and blue -- at least until Sunday.
Ochocinco caught his first touchdown of the season during the Patriots' 41-23 victory over the Denver Broncos. On his only reception of the game, Ochocinco found the end zone in the first quarter by running a nice route down the left sideline, getting wide open against poor zone coverage and hauling in the Patriots' first score of the game.
Prior to the scoring play, Ochocinco had made only one catch longer than 30 yards through the first three quarters of the season.
The Patriots (11-3) clinched the AFC East title with the victory and a New York Jets loss.
