Pair of 'well-deserved' Dolphins get Pro Bowl nod

BY NICK ST. DENIS

Brandon Marshall wore his Pro Bowl jersey to practice earlier this season. He was just keeping it warm.

Marshall, the Dolphins' No. 1 wideout, will have another chance to don the red and white all-star uni when the season is over, as he was named to his second Pro Bowl. Dolphins left tackle Jake Long also got the nod to line up with the AFC's best, as he was named to the Pro Bowl for the fourth year in a row.

"They have played at a high level all season, and their selection is very well-deserved," Dolphins interim coach Todd Bowles told the media Tuesday.

Marshall has the fourth-most receiving yards in the AFC and has made some incredible scoring catches, including his touchdown reception against the Cowboys while being strangled by Terence Newman.

Long has been battling injuries all season but has been stout, particularly in the running game, in anchoring the Dolphins' offensive line.
