Veteran cornerback Terrence McGee and the Bills agreed to a restructured contract, as announced by the team Wednesday.
The Bills did not disclose terms of the deal due to "team policy," but Aaron Wilson of Scout.com reported that McGee took a pretty substantial cut to his base salary over the next two years.
McGee was set to make $3.6 million and $4.6 million in 2012 and 2013, respectively. However, Wilson reported that those numbers have been reduced to $1.35 million and $1.75 million.
McGee will also receive a $300,000 signing bonus with the new two-year agreement.
A nine-year Bill, McGee played in just six games last season because of a knee injury. He has 17 career interceptions and has recorded 87 passes defensed.
