The Patriots continue to add depth via free agency.
Monday, New England inked guard Robert Gallery, receiver Donte Stallworth, cornerback Marquice Cole and tight end Daniel Fells.
Gallery, formerly of the Raiders, missed a dozen and a half games over the past three years to injury, though Patriots coach Bill Belichick is reportedly fond of the former second round draft pick, so we could see him take on a starting role.
Stallworth was a Patriot in 2007, so he's familiar with offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels' system.
Cole was a former Jets' reserve but could play a role in New England's not-so-good secondary, and Fells will take on occasional blocking duties, though he has the best tight end tandem in the league in front of him on the depth chart.
