Week 5 Poll: How should Jets deal with Holmes loss?

BY NICK ST. DENIS

Multiple media outlets are reporting receiver Santonio Holmes will likely miss the remainder of the season with a foot injury he acquired in the New York Jets' stinker loss to the San Francisco 49ers last Sunday.

So as it stands, rookie Stephen Hill, who missed that game to an injury of his own, is now the team's No. 1 receiver, with second-year player Jeremy Kerley at No. 2.

The Jets re-signed their seventh-round draft pick receiver Jordan White Tuesday, but who knows he'll have any impact at all.

How should the Jets deal with the loss of their best offensive weapon? Should they sign free agent receiver Plaxico Burress, who was a Jet last year, or should they take a big risk on either Chad Johnson or Terrell Owens, who are both free agents?

Are they better off leaving things as they are, or is it time to give Tim Tebow the nod at quarterback since Mark Sanchez, who has already been struggling, has virtually no No. 1 wideout to throw to?
