Rex Ryan isn't the only New York Jet under the Mark Sanchez love spell.
Sunday, Jets cornerback Antonio Cromartie said those calling for the fourth-year signal-caller to be replaced "can kiss my ass."

Cromartie has had a history of defending the always under-heat Sanchez. He railed out on Twitter against the idea of the Jets acquiring Tim Tebow before Gang Green traded for him, and earlier this season, Cro publicly backed Sanchez when he was under fire.
"At the end of the day, we couldn’t give a damn what anybody has to say on the outside," Cromartie said. "Mark’s our quarterback and will continue to be our quarterback. There’s not going to be no division.”
Sanchez threw a bad interception in the red zone Sunday in the Jets' 28-7 loss to the Seattle Seahawks, and he also lost a fumble. An estimated 99 percent of the general public thought Sanchez's poor Week 10 showing would be the last straw before Tebow Time, but Ryan himself got testy Sunday evening when asked why he believes in Sanchez.
“Well, that’s what I believe,” Ryan said. “It’s what I believe to be the truth. Why do I believe it? Because I believe it. I don’t care what you think or what anybody else [thinks]."
With a leaky offensive line, no run game and a sub-par receiving corps, the offense's shortcomings clearly go far beyond Sanchez's work, but Sanchez has done nothing to help his case.
So that's that. They're sticking with Sanchez. After all, things couldn't possibly get any worse for the Jets, could they?
