Nick's take:
Jets running backs Shonn Green and Bilal Powell will have every chance to succeed against the league's second-worst run defense, which has surrendered 16 touchdowns on the ground this season. Plus, Rex Ryan and Tony Sparano won't want to give Mark Sanchez too many chances to screw up. Jaguars quarterback Chad Henne, a former Miami Dolphin, looks to improve on his 3-1 head-to-head record against the Jets, though he'll try to do it with an incredibly thin skill position corps.
Prediction: Jets 17, Jaguars 6 (Nick's record: 29-9)
Sean's take:
The Jets' quarterback situation officially came unglued last week, but by virtue of Arizona's own train-wreck at the position, Gang Green emerged with a victory. Henne presents a stronger challenge, but he leads an offensive unit decimated by injuries. Sanchez bounces back behind another strong team rushing performance, which has quietly averaged 138.1 yards per game in its last seven contests.
Prediction: Jets 21, Jaguars 13 (Sean's record: 29-9)
Dan's take:
The Jets' offense may have gotten the shot in the arm it needed last week with Sanchez's benching, and he'll get a fresh start against a defense that's all about giving second chances. Jacksonville sports the league's third-worst defense and is allowing more than 144 yards a game on the ground, which should give Sanchez all the comfort in the world in the pocket on play-action.
Prediction: Jets 22, Jaguars 17 (Dan's record: 23-15)
