During an appearance on NFL Network Tuesday, the sixth-year tailback explored the idea of pairing with the cross-town, cross-conference New York Jets.

Bradshaw was released by the Giants last week. Coming off a foot procedure -- his third in as many years -- he'll need to prove he can still trot like the 1,000-plus-yard rusher he was in 2010 and 2012.
The Jets shouldn't and likely won't bring back running back Shonn Greene, who is slated to hit free agency in March. Gang Green has a progressing tailback in Bilal Powell and a change-of-pace back in Joe McKnight, but the offensive backfield could use a shot in the arm.
If Bradshaw can come at a reasonable price, the Jets could make a move. While they're not in spending mode, they'll be in a much better situation when they drop linebackers Bart Scott and Calvin Pace and tackle Jason Smith, which will knock down their cap number by nearly $30 million.
Other free agent running backs about to hit the market are Rashard Mendenhall, Felix Jones and Cedric Benson. The Jets could also target RB in the draft. We'll just have to wait and see.
