Bills reviewing Nix, Dominik prank with legal counsel

By now, many of you have heard, or heard about, the recorded conversation between Buffalo Bills general manager Buddy Nix and Tampa Bay Buccaneers general manager Mark Dominik that resulted from a prank phone call.

While wrong, and illegal, the recorded conversation was somewhat intriguing. Well, at least the idea of it. The pair of GMs didn't really flesh out any notable football stuff, but Nix did make it clear the Bills would probably do away with quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick if he doesn't restructure his contract.

In the wake of recorded-conversation-between-two-GMs-gate, the Bills released the following statement Tuesday afternoon:

"We are aware of the report on Deadspin involving a phone conversation with Bills GM Buddy Nix. We have made the league aware of the report and are reviewing it with legal counsel."

Now, back to free agency.
