The New York Jets have made significant changes to their defensive line of late. Add the departure of Mike DeVito to that list.
DeVito is set to visit with the Kansas City Chiefs, per his agent Buddy Baker.
The word from Jets beat writers is that DeVito likely won't leave Kansas City without signing. The 28-year-old defensive end would join on with Chiefs defensive coordinator Bob Sutton, who most recently coached the Jets' linebackers and was Gang Green's defensive coordinator from 2006 to 2008.
DeVito tallied 202 tackles, six forced fumbles and 2.5 sacks in his six years with the Jets.
