Sebastian Vollmer was widely expected to return to the New England Patriots sooner or later.

According to ESPN Boston's Field Yates and the Boston Herald's Karen Guregian, the sides agreed over the weekend to stay together. Guregian reported the right tackle will sign a four-year deal Monday.
Vollmer missed one game last season and had knee surgery in February. His was arguably the top free agent offensive lineman available over the past week, so his signing not only helps solidify New England's offensive front, but it also changes the market a bit.
Tackles Andre Smith and Eric Winston, formerly of the Cincinnati Bengals and Kansas City Chiefs, respectively, remain without teams.
