The upstart New York Jets dropped down a few pegs after taking a thorough drubbing in Buffalo, while a close home win for the Miami Dolphins over another fringe playoff contender bumped their stock.
A controversial loss by the New England Patriots to one of the league's elite teams reduced the division lead over the Jets and Dolphins to two games heading into a critical slate of Week 12 matchups. The Bills jumped a few spots and are heading into a bye.
