Sometimes, watching the New York Jets can be bad for your heath. But playing for them is not -- at least it wasn't in 2013.
According to a study by the Dallas Morning News, the Jets' starters (offense and defense combined) missed the fewest amount of games to injuries in all of the NFL.
The Jets saw just 20 games missed by members of their starting lineup, not including quarterback Mark Sanchez, who was still in a positional competition at the time of his preseason injury.
The New England Patriots, meanwhile, had the third-most missed games to injury with 74 and were the unhealthiest squad in the AFC East.
Still, the Patriots won the division, earned a first round bye, beat the Indianapolis Colts in the Divisional round last week and are slated for an AFC Championship bout with the Denver Broncos next weekend.
The Buffalo Bills were the eighth-healthiest team with 38 games missed by starters, and the Miami Dolphins were the 12th-healthiest with 41 games missed.
