Brady: Belichick doesn't yell at me on the golf course

BY NICK ST. DENIS

New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady and coach Bill Belichick have enjoyed a fun weekend of competitive golf at the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am.

The change in scenery has been refreshing for the future Hall-of-Fame football duo -- and so has the change in tone.

"It's been great. He doesn't yell at me out here like he does during the weeks of practice," Brady quipped to CBS Saturday, via ESPN Boston. "We haven't had too many chances to do things like this, so this is a really special week for me to be with him."

The two have played in the same foursome the past four days, with Belichick teamed up with James Driscoll and Brady with Ricky Barnes, whose father was a punter for the Patriots in the '70s.

"I'm just trying to follow Tom's shots," Belichick said.

Brady's team finished minus-13 after three days and missed the cut for the final round. Belichick's team also was unable to qualify for Sunday, going 12-under through three rounds.
