The New England Patriots made a big splash Wednesday night in signing cornerback Darrelle Revis, but that doesn't mean they're done at the position.
Per multiple media reports, the Patriots are hosting former Seattle Seahawks Pro Bowl cornerback Brandon Browner Thursday.
Browner peaked in 2011 but had run-ins with the league's substance abuse policy in each of the past two seasons. No matter where he ends up, he'll miss the first four games of 2014 serving a pending suspension.
And while Browner is in Foxborough, another free agent cornerback is visiting another AFC Eeast team.
The Jets are reportedly hosting former Carolina Panthers defensive back Captain Munnerlyn, who returned an interception for a touchdown against New York last season.
He's scored four defensive touchdowns over the past two seasons and graded out very well by Pro Football Focus last year against both the pass and run. According to PFF, he surrendered just one touchdown all season.
The Jets still seek their replacement for the recently cut Antonio Cromartie to work opposite second-year corner Dee Milliner. Cromartie, Munnerlyn and Dominique Rogers-Cromartie highlight the list of remaining free agents at the position.
