There's no doubt the 6-foot-1, 205-pound Sammy Watkins has it physically.
But according to Watkins' new quarterback, that's not all the young pass-catcher has to offer. At least based on what the second-year offensive leader has seen so far--in a whopping ones day's worth of work.
"Well I was extremely impressed with him the first day beyond his physical attributes, he’s a big guy, he’s a big receiver," Bills signal-caller E.J. Manuel said this week, via BuffaloBills.com. "But at the same time he works hard too. He does a lot of things after practice. So whenever we’re finished he’s still out there walking through his routes on his own.

"That’s what you want to see from a fourth pick overall whose coming in with huge expectations. You want to see him put that front foot forward and work hard. So I’m extremely happy to have him on our team."
Watkins is already essentially penciled is as the Day 1, No. 1 wideout on the roster, so Manuel will be more than happy to get in any extra work he can with his new target. Meanwhile, Manuel has plenty to prove himself, especially in the health department.
