Dolphins swap tight end Brackett for tight end Webber

BY NICK ST. DENIS

The Miami Dolphins announced Thursday they have signed tight end Raymond Webber and waived tight end Brett Brackett.

The 6-2, 237-pound Webber joins the Dolphins after a stint with the Calgary Stampeders of the Canadian Football League in 2013.

He spent time with the New York Jets during the 2012 preseason after entering the NFL as an undrafted free agent with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2011, where he was placed on injured reserve for the season.

A four-year letterman at Arkansas Pine-Bluff, he posted 180 catches for 2,376 yards (13.2 avg.) and 16 touchdowns during his collegiate career.
