Calvin Johnson is arguably the best receiver in the NFL, and he'll be up against one of the more questionable cornerback corps in the league Sunday.
That will require the New York Jets to often double-up on the big Detroit Lions wideout.
But if that happens... well, Johnson still likes his team's chances.
“If they want to do that, then we have a plethora of other playmakers who can go out there and get the job done as well," Johnson said Wednesday, via NJ.com. "You kind of have to pick your poison.”
That "poison" comes in the form of Johnson, fellow receiver Golden Tate and multi-purpose back Reggie Bush.
It's not as deep of a skill position group as the Chicago Bears'--an Alshon Jeffery and Brandon Marshall-led unit--which the perimeter tandem of converted safety Antonio Allen and used-to-be reserve Darrin Walls fared relatively well against Monday night in terms of preventing the big play.

However, the 6-foot-5, 239-pound Johnson is a completely different monster--one Jets coach Rex Ryan is undoubtedly spending much of the week game-planning around. That game-planning won't include one-on-one coverage.
“I’m crazy," Ryan said Wednesday, "but I’m not that crazy.”
