The Miami Dolphins spent much of the offseason shuffling their offensive line, so when they had three interior frontmen leave Sunday's game at different times, it was just more of the same.
Dolphins offensive coordinator Bill Lazor said this week that he "didn't blink" during the changes during Miami's win over the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Both starting guards Daryn Colledge and Mike Pouncey got nicked up, with Colledge leaving the game earlier and Pouncey missing the last two possessions. Backup Nate Garner lasted a single play subbing for Colledge, though he came back in for Pouncey late.
“We kind of moved the line around early in the preseason, we juggled guys around, (and) to me that’s given us a little of flexibility," he said, via MiamiDolphins.com. "So I think we’ve got enough depth to play the game. I had no concern when we changed.”
The Dolphins' offensive line, however, got manhandled for much of the first half, so Lazor can't be feeling as great as he's leading on. Miami did get it going on the ground, though, after regularly hanging quarterback Ryan Tannehill out to dry.
