They were teammates for three years at Texas A&M. This week, they will be opponents.
And Miami Dolphins quarterback Ryan Tannehill wants nothing to do with Denver Broncos linebacker Von Miller during the game.

Miller leads the Broncos in sacks with 10 and is tied for fourth in the NFL. He had 33 quarterback takedowns in college and has totaled 45 regular season sacks so far in just under four professional seasons.
“Von is a great football player. Loved him in college," Tannehill said. "He was a great player in college. He was one of the leaders of the team in college. He’s only taken his game to another level once he got in the NFL. I have so much respect for Von and his game and the things he can do.”
Miller looks to feast on Dolphins tackle Dallas Thomas, who has struggled a bit in pass protection of late. On the other side, JaWuan James will likely be up against DeMarcus Ware, who has nine sacks on the season.

“You look at those two edge pass rushers, it’s probably two of the top guys in the league and both on the same team,” Tannehill said. “It’s going to be a tough matchup for us. We’re going to have to do a good job of controlling that pass rush and getting the ball out.”
