New England Patriots cornerback Kyle Arrington had to guard Indianapolis Colts receiver T.Y. Hilton throughout the AFC Championship while the Pats' normal No. 2 corner, Brandon Browner, shadowed tight end Coby Fleener.
That matchup allowed the normal slot DB Arrington to take on a heavy dose of work, which he completed successfully. Hilton caught just one pass.
According to ESPN Boston, Arrington played every defensive snap in the victory--a major boost in playing time after seeing the field on just 40 percent of the team's defensive snaps during the regular season.
