Frank Reich is considered to be the Buffalo Bills' top candidate for their vacant head coaching job, while the Bills' former head coach--Doug Marrone--is a leading prospect for the rival New York Jets gig.
The fires, however, continue to be stoked.
According to NJ.com, the Jets are slated to interview Reich, the former Bills coach, for their vacant head coaching position, left open by the recently fired Rex Ryan--who actually may be a prospect for the Bills, as well.
A lot of math, there.
Reich spent last season as the Chargers' offensive coordinator after coaching their quarterbacks in 2013. He spent time as an assistant with the Indianapolis Colts and Arizona Cardinals prior to his stint with the Chargers.
Two decades ago, Reich was Jim Kelly's backup and led the Bills to a comeback victory in a 1992 Wild Card game after Buffalo trailed the Oilers 35-3 at halftime. He spent nine seasons with the Bills but also started seven games for the Jets in 1996, when Gang Green went 1-15.
