The New York Jets liked Mike Maccagnan so much they're dining him again.
Woody Johnson and his consultant team will bring back the Houston Texans' director of college scouting for a second interview regarding their vacant general manager position.
The team announced the second meeting Thursday, and Newsday's Kimberley A. Martin reported Maccagnan will interview Friday.
"Maccagnan has a long-standing relationship with Jets' consultant Charley Casserly. Maccagnan scouted for the Redskins from 1994-99 while Casserly was their GM, and Casserly later hired Maccagnan to be a scout when he joined the Texans in 2000," Martin wrote.
"Maccagnan also has ties to two candidates who have already interviewed for the Jets' head-coaching job: Doug Marrone and Todd Bowles."Read more from Martin and Newsday.
