New England Patriots defensive tackle Vince Wilfork had a pretty quiet game Sunday night in the team's Championship victory over the Indianapolis Colts.
After the game, though? Not so much.
Wilfork aided at the scene of crash involving an alleged intoxicated driver following the team's 45-7 win, helping the victim out of her car on Route 1 in Foxboro as Massachusetts State Police came onto the scene.
"Through football and the course of life, I learned to just try to stay poised in certain situations," he said via patriots.com. "I'm pretty sure she was kind of scared, so the last thing I wanted to do is have her panic. That's the first thing I told her is, 'Don't panic. I'll get you out of here.'
"My job right then and there was to help the person in the car."
