Sunday's victory didn't only transform Julian Edelman into a Super Bowl champion; it transformed his nickname, as well.
A day after earning his first championship ring, the 28-year-old receiver released some new swag on his website, an upgrade to his popular Minitron t-shirt. The new shirt, donned Supertron, is a much larger Transformer-like robot showing off his Super Bowl ring.
The description of the item states: "Minitron upgrading Superbowl programs. Upgrade complete. Supertron operational."
Edelman once again led New England's passing attack in targets and receptions this season, finishing with 135 and 92, respectively.
