Miami Dolphins tight end Charles Clay has gotten a little attention the past 24 hours.
Late Sunday night/early Monday, Vic Carucci of The Buffalo News reported the Buffalo Bills were eying Clay, who is poised to hit free agency assuming he doesn't reach a new deal with his current team.
Monday morning, Andrew Abramson of The Palm Beach Post chimed in with a report that Clay was expected to re-sign with the Dolphins despite interest across the division, though Adam Beasley of The Miami Herald later reported that "the market for Charles Clay starts at $6 million annually."
The 26-year-old Clay, who has snagged 127 receptions for more than 1,300 yards and nine touchdowns, appears poised for a decent paycheck, and it's likely he won't simply settle early with Miami if interest in the dynamic pass-catcher continues to rise.
