Matt Cassel is back in the AFC East.
The former New England Patriots quarterback, who started four seasons for the Kansas City Chiefs and most recently donned a Minnesota Vikings uniform, was acquired by the Buffalo Bills via a trade.
Cassel has amassed 96 touchdowns and 70 interceptions with 71 starts in 91 appearances. Unless EJ Manuel shines in camp this year, there's a very good chance Cassel heads into the 2015 as the Bills' starter. So far, he appears to be an upgrade.
Buffalo sent a pair of undisclosed picks to the Vikings and got the signal-caller and another pick back in return.
