The New York Jets formally announced the acquisition of one controversial wide receiver, following it with the termination of another.
The team officially announced the trade that brings veteran wideout Brandon Marshall to New York from the Chicago Bears, a deal that cost Gang Green a fifth-round draft pick. The Bears also sent over a seventh-round selection.
"I can’t wait to get out there and play on the world’s biggest stage,” Marshall told newyorkjets.com Tuesday.
The move was followed with the expected release of Percy Harvin, who was acquired in the middle of last season from the Seattle Seahawks.
