Jordan Cameron set to visit Dolphins Wednesday

Looks like the Miami Dolphins have an emergency plan in place if Charles Clay bails to Buffalo.

According to Pat McManamon of ESPN.com, Browns tight end Jordan Cameron, who became a free agent Tuesday, is set to visit the team Wednesday. Cameron is coming off an injury-plagued season where he tallied only 24 receptions 424 yards, less than half the output he had the prior season.

Instead of the franchise tag, Miami decided to place the transition tag on their tight end Clay, giving them the option to match any offer he may receive from other teams. That move, which saved the team $1 million, could allow another team — namely the Bills — to jack up the price on Clay and potentially steal him.

It remains to be seen just how much the Dolphins are willing to spend on the former Pro Bowler, but Cameron, if healthy, provides a decent Plan B if the price gets out of hand.
