The Buffalo Bills made their acquisition of running back LeSean McCoy official Tuesday, while working to add some blocking help in the process.
Fullback Jerome Felton was flown into Buffalo Tuesday and is poised to sign a multi-year deal, according to Vic Carucci of the Buffalo News. The deal is reportedly set to be worth more than $9 million over four years.
McCoy, who was brought in on a blockbuster trade that saw linebacker Kiko Alonso head to Philadelphia, was excited to hear of the team's move to help further aid the rushing attack.
"I mean, you just look at his stats in his career; I want to say every running back he’s played with has been one of the top, leading rushers, at least in the top six," McCoy said via buffalobills.com. "Fullbacks, you always kind of know a little bit about their stats. So, hopefully with Felton, they work that out."
