If Bryce Brown wasn't sure about his status within the Buffalo Bills depth chart, he sure is now.
During an hour-long Q&A with reporters Wednesday in Arizona, Bills head coach Rex Ryan talked about everything from his new bosses to his return to Met Life Stadium. Among those topics discussed was that of the team's depth chart at running back, an interesting one given the departure of C.J. Spiller and the addition of LeSean McCoy.
According to Mike Rodak of ESPN.com, Brown has his work cut out for him when the team rejoins for offseason workouts.
Rex Ryan has talked about Bills' backfield depth twice. Both times, mentions Jackson and Dixon -- but not Brown

Rex Ryan talks about RB backfield. "The fast dude. Brown? I'm not going to learn his name until he holds onto the football."

To his credit, Brown certainly isn't the worst when it comes to ball security, but there's definitely room for improvement. Over his career, the 23-year-old has had 226 total rushing attempts, fumbling five times; four of those led to turnovers. He's part of a crowded Buffalo backfield that looks poised to run the ball a ton in 2015, a backfield that currently has seven rushers on the roster.
