After 100 games, 10 seasons and a pair of Super Bowl rings, longtime New England Patriots offensive lineman Dan Connolly is calling it a career.
Connolly, who spent the last eight seasons with the Patriots, told ESPN Boston he "got everything I could out of football" and that it's "important for me to leave the game healthy."
And that he will.
One thing he'll take away from the game--and something he may not have ever expected--is a highlight-reel 71-yard kickoff return, courtesy of a game against the Green Bay Packers in 2010.
