Patriots shuffle O-line depth chart, add tight end

Closing in on the end of the first week of camp, the New England Patriots made a few roster moves Thursday, bringing in two offensive bodies and letting another go.

The Pats signed journeymen Mark Asper and Mason Brodine and released offensive lineman Harland Gunn, putting their roster at the maximum of 90.

OL Asper and TE Brodine, 29 years old and 27 years old, respectively, both join the team likely as camp bodies, with Asper joining the line following time with the Buffalo Bills and Miami Dolphins, among others. Brodine spent the last three years with the St. Louis Rams, though he didn't play a snap.

The two have a combined nine games of experience under their belts.
