Linebacker Jamie Collins had a game Sunday in the New England Patriots' victory over the Dallas Cowboys.
“Jamie it seemed like he had 20 tackles,” coach Bill Belichick said after the game, via CSNNE. “I don’t know what he had out there but he was in on a lot of them . . . Jamie seemed to be all over the field. "
Collins didn't have 20 tackles. He had 10. But he was all over the field, and six of the takedowns were solo. He also had a tackle for a loss and a forced fumble. He leads the team in tackles (32 combined, 21 solo) and has 3.5 sacks and three forced fumbles this season.
Defensive back Devin McCourty said Collins is "not human," and youngster Jabaal Sheard called him "freakish."
