Seven-year NFL receiver Hakeem Nicks has met with a handful of NFL teams of late. The latest visit for the free agent was the New England Patriots.
According to ESPN Boston, Nicks worked out for the Patriots Monday. Writes Mike Reiss:
New England appears to be well stocked at receiver when considering that Brandon LaFell -- one of the team's top two players at the position in 2014 -- will be eligible to begin practicing after this Sunday's game against the Colts. The current depth chart has Julian Edelman, Keshawn Martin, Danny Amendola and Aaron Dobson, with Matthew Slater an emergency option who contributes mostly on special teams.READ MORE
