Josh McDaniels remains focused on the New England Patriots.
With his team on a first-round bye this weekend, the offensive coordinator isn't entertaining any teams that wish to meet with him about vacant head coaching positions.
According to NFL Network's Ian Rapport, McDaniels won't be doing any interviews this weekend as he remains focused on the team's first game of the postseason--a to-be-determined AFC matchup based on what happens this Wildcard weekend.
Via WEEI:
"This means McDaniels cannot interview for any job until at least the bye week before the Super Bowl — if the Patriots were to get that far — or whenever the Patriots are out of the postseason. The Patriots will host a divisional round game next Saturday at Gillette Stadium.
As it stands now, there are seven head coaching vacancies: Tampa Bay, Tennessee, New York Giants, Philadelphia, Miami, Cleveland and San Fransisco."
