The Buffalo Bills freed up $3.9 million in 2016 salary cap space by releasing veteran defensive back Leodis McKelvin, according to Mike Rodak of ESPN.com.
The team announced the move Friday.
Meanwhile, starting left tackle signed his franchise-tag tender, amounting to $13.7 million.
