Veteran defensive end Jason Jones has signed with the Miami Dolphins.
The soon-to-be 30-year-old's agent announced the news Monday on Twitter.
Jones racked up 9.5 sacks in the last two years with the Detroit Lions. He has 28 QB takedowns in his career.

Jones can also move inside which will give the line more options.
While Jones started the last two seasons in Detroit, he will be a reserve for the Dolphins unless Cam Wake isn’t fully recovered from an Achilles’ injury. Dolphins defensive coordinator Vance Joseph said earlier this month that he couldn’t guarantee Wake’s return for the season opener but expects him to be ready.
