'Phins land 2020 Super Bowl for NFL's centennial year
After a decade of quiet Februarys, the Super Bowl is headed back to South Florida.
Miami was awarded the bid for the 2020 season finale Tuesday, according to the Sun Sentinel, simultaneously ending the longest drought between Super Bowls in Miami and setting the record for the most by one city.
It is also the 100th season for the NFL, with owner Stephen Ross saying, "You can’t think of a better place to celebrate and have a party than Miami."
